Once in a while, you just meet people that instantly make you feel warm and accepted. Chloe and Graeme are exactly these people, and getting to work with them for their wedding felt like a big hug. They first reached out to me about a year in advance to coordinate their Greenpoint Loft wedding, and I couldn’t wait to work with them! They are kind, funny, and don’t take themselves too seriously. I knew immediately we were going to have a good time together.

The Vibes

Their vision for the day was a whimsical, rustic disco party. Having a wedding at Greenpoint Loft was the perfect decision. Greenpoint Loft was originally a Pre World War 2 era warehouse that has been restored for events. There’s so much character and so many possibilities for a raw space in a prime Brooklyn location. Naturally, the space feels very rustic and industrial on its own, but Chloe and Graeme brought in new life to make it fit their aesthetic. Design wise, they incorporated bright, sunny tones of yellow, orange, white, and pink to bring in warmth. Each table had whimsical bud vase centerpieces with patterned napkins and dinnerware that felt like home.

When Chloe and Graeme first started telling me about their plans, they mentioned their top priority was that everything felt natural and easy going. For dinner, they opted for a floating dinner style where heavy bites were passed and an interactive station was set up. They also had a ceremony in the round with a beautiful installation from Rosehip Floral. This way everyone could see the couple of the moment and they were literally surrounded by their loved ones! They also wanted to make sure that they could enjoy the night and dance without feeling like “hosts”. Our team worked seamlessly with their vendor team to make sure everything moved along smoothly and efficiently. My favorite personal touch was the late night hot dog station guests enjoyed on their way out!

Getting to work with Chloe and Graeme on this day was such a joy! Their friends and family were so excited to celebrate them. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
