An Intimate, Joyful Restaurant Wedding at MyMoon

When Stacy and Rico inquired with me about coordinating their MyMoon Brooklyn wedding on a Wednesday in October, I couldn’t wait to get started. My typical Wednesdays are full of emails and admin work, so I was so excited to get to celebrate a gorgeous couple at one of my favorite venues. They planned their whole wedding in less than two months, and brought me on about a month before to bring it all together. Surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family, Stacy and Rico said “I do” on the patio of MyMoon.

I loved how they wanted the day to feel classy, elegant, and quintessentially New York. They were definitely some of the coolest people I’ve met, and they just radiate “cool guy” vibes. After they said their vows, they ran over to the Bedford Ave subway station to take portraits. These may be some of my favorite wedding portraits of the year! There was a musician playing when they arrived and they danced like no one was watching amidst the NYC chaos. It was so beautiful and inspiring.

Once they got back to MyMoon, they laughed, ate, and danced the night away with their guests. Everyone had such an amazing time and you could feel the love instantly. At the end of the evening, we lined everyone up for a sparkler send off on the sidewalk. Stacy and Rico looked so gorgeous and were so much fun to be around. I’m so happy our paths crossed in time to celebrate their love story!
