Andrea and Alberto came to me with dreams of a classic, NYC wedding. They reside in Cancun, Mexico, and love to visit NYC as often as possible. For them, it is a special and sentimental spot. With family traveling in from all over the globe, they thought “why not celebrate with them in the greatest city in the world?”

To start, they immediately knew they wanted to have their ceremony at the iconic St Patrick’s Cathedral on 5th Ave. For the reception, they prioritized looking for somewhere with great food, a naturally beautiful space, and wow factors we could use to surprise and delight guests. With all of this in mind, it was a no brainer to select Cipriani at 25 Broadway. Since we had two stunning locations as backdrops, we opted for a neutral color palette to let these venues shine.

At Cipriani, we worked together to design a timeless, yet somewhat modern and romantic feel for the day. Black, white, and nude tones both highlighted the space while also bringing a luxurious and sophisticated touch. We brought in mirror accents to reflect more light and make the space feel even more grand. One of our highlight pieces for the event was a large round bar immediately in the grand room. With the spherical shape of the architecture, this was a perfect fit and allowed for guests to really explore and enjoy the room.

We worked with Moment Factory to create video mapping shows to help transition guests through each portion of the evening. After cocktail hour, a dramatic light show started that highlighted the architecture of the space. This also brought the eye to the next section of the room where dinner would be served. As this was going on, the Cipriani team moved the temporary walls to open up the room. IN the center of the space, Impulse Strings was waiting to serenade guests as they found their seats.

During their first dance, we created a custom timed video mapping show that had rose petals bursting all over the ceiling during a pivotal point of the song. Their choreographed dance was absolutely stunning and full of so much love. Then, we got the disco ball projection going, lowered the lights, and partied the night away.

Guest experience was incredibly important to Andy and Alberto, as all of their guests had traveled to celebrate. When guests arrived, we had signature Cipriani bellinis waiting, as well as a champagne wall escort display to lead them to their seats. Once the party got started, we worked with the Cipriani team to create special food and beverage moments. This included a tequila bar cart station on the dance floor and late night bites. Finally, we collaborated with Levain Bakery to have a cookie cart stationed by the dance floor for a sweet treat.

The entire day was full of so much love. I can say wholeheartedly that Andrea and Alberto are some of the most genuine and kind people I have ever worked with. It was truly an honor to celebrate with them and bring this dream day to life!
